- Underneath the page: Photographs - may 1940, the page: River casemate II Willemsdorp has been added. Because, I now have multiple photographs of this River casemate II in my collection and the casemate has an extensive history, I decided to make a seperate page for this topic. I hope to add some more photographs of casemates, bunkers and field fortifications in the near future.
Addition 20 november 2017:
Beneath the topic: "Media" - "Personal stories" I've added the wartime story of Zoetje Corvers, she was my grandmother. She was a child during the war and at several ocasions, acompanied by her father, she had to walk large distances to a farmhouse. Her father then dissapeared for some time. Ather the war, documents were found and it turned out that Zoetjes father was a member of the "Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten" or domestic armed forces. Presumably he was involved in resitance activities when he took Zoetje to the farmhouse.
