12. German Luftwaffe soldiers on a FLAK position on top of the Zwijndrecht railroadbridge during the Second World War

German Luftwaffe soldiers are being photographed on top of the FLAK emplacement that was built on the railway bridge. Both the railway bridge and the road bridge had a FLAK position constructed on them, where 2 cm Flieger‑Abwehr‑Kanonen were set up to defend the bridges over the Oude Maas against air attacks. In this photo, the road bridge can still be seen on the right.
