17. German soldiers near residential houses during the Second World War.

This photo shows German soldiers near several residential houses. We see a Kradfahrer and an officer. Wooden planks have been nailed across the windows of the houses — perhaps to prevent damage during the fighting in May 1940. The photo was found together with another image of the Moerdijk Bridge, which is why we suspect that these houses might be located somewhere in Dordrecht.
