1. German field graves during the Second World War.

German field graves near a dike. The back of the photo is annotated: “Fallschirmjäger Heldengräber bei Dortrecht.”
The photo shows field graves of German soldiers; according to the inscription they are parachutist graves, which cannot be correct given the helmets visible in the image. It is also claimed that the photo was taken near Dordrecht. We have not yet been able to determine the location and are unsure whether it is indeed Dordrecht.
