A German photograph of River Casemate II in Willemsdorp taken after the May days of 1940. A German Luftwaffe soldier is standing at the entrance. The photo is noteworthy because it was taken from close range: the construction year, 1936, is clearly visible, as is the damage caused when the entrance door was blown out of its frame.
