Willemsdorp
On this page you will find original photographic material of the small village of Willemsdorp, located between Dordrecht and the Moerdijk bridges, in May 1940. During the mobilization, many Dutch soldiers were stationed in Willemsdorp. This led, in May 1940, to a direct confrontation between them and the German paratroopers who landed in the surrounding meadows.
