A photograph of the road bridge. To the left of it a German 3.7 cm Flak anti‑aircraft gun has been positioned. The bridge was of great importance for the German advance through the Netherlands and therefore had to be well protected, including against attacks from the air. According to the caption, the photo was taken on 14 May 1940.
