This photograph shows three field graves of German paratroopers, identifiable by their distinctive paratrooper helmets. In the background stands a large ship’s crane, likely belonging to the port of Moerdijk. Given the flowers and the well‑kept appearance of the graves, the photograph was probably taken several days after the fighting. On the back of the photo it reads: “Heldengraber von gefallenen Fallschirmjäger in Moerdijk (Holland).”
