The barracks camp of the Dutch artillery at the Tweede Tol in Dordrecht in May 1940. This camp was quickly taken into use by the German paratroopers. In the foreground lie numerous parachutes, Abwurfbehälter, and ammunition boxes. The attentive viewer will also notice the swastika flag placed on the foundation of the barrack that was still under construction. With this, the paratroopers could clearly signal to their own aircraft that the positions were in German hands.
