This photograph does not show Dutch graves, but German graves near the Tweede Tol. Paratroopers are buried here. The soldier looking at the graves appears to be from the armoured troops. Behind the German soldier, a section of the Zeedijk can probably be seen. These are the same emergency graves that Bruno Brauer visited in the photograph shown earlier above. The grave on the left has a standard M35 helmet and is likely that of one of the soldiers who arrived via Waalhaven. The two graves next to it belong to Jäger Bruno Jürgensen, killed at the Tongplaat, and Jäger Karl Fischer, killed near Amstelwijck.
