Several German soldiers are standing on the small bridge in front of the CJMV building on the Burgemeester de Raadtsingel. During the war, a ditch still ran between the Singel and the buildings along it. On the left, a helmeted German soldier looks straight into the camera, while the other soldiers seem unaware that the photo is being taken. They are Luftwaffe soldiers. They appear to have used the CJMV building as a temporary billet.
