12. German officers somewhere in Dordrecht

This photo belongs to a photo lot of the German general Erich Höcker. This general was given command of the 719th German Infantry Division on 3 May 1941, with its headquarters located in Dordrecht. On 1 June 1941 he received permanent command of the division, which he held until 10 January 1944. In this photo we see officers, presumably from the 719th Infantry Division. The picture was taken somewhere in Dordrecht, though it is difficult to determine the exact location. It may have been taken at one of the Wehrmachtsheime in the city. The photo dates from late April 1942.
