German soldiers posing at the field graves of the twelve Dutch soldiers who were killed at Amstelwijck on 10 May 1940. The field graves were located next to the villa, on its western side. Various pieces of equipment can still be seen at the back of the garden. The graves shown in this photo belong to the following Dutch soldiers (all killed on 10 May 1940) *2:
