German soldiers posing at the field graves of the twelve Dutch soldiers who were killed at Amstelwijck on 10 May 1940.The field graves were located next to the villa, on its western side. Various pieces of equipment can still be seen in the back of the garden.If you look closely at the first photo, you can also see the German field graves further back in the garden.The graves shown here belong to the following Dutch soldiers (all killed on 10 May 1940) *2:
