Cracking at the General Cemetery in Dordrecht in May 1940 by a German officer

This photo was taken very shortly after the May days of 1940. Being in the picture Wrath leggings and last greetings from German soldiers to their dead comrades buried at the General Cemetery. There’s still to see a large variety of gravemarks right now. And lie everywhere fresh flowers. On some graves the small wooden crosses can still be seen where the so-called Erkennungsmarke songs are written on.
