32. Photos of German graves at the General Cemetery in Dordrecht K8

Another photo of the German graves, also at the General Cemetery in Dordrecht. These too are soldiers who fell during the May days. The first two graves on the left are those of Gefreiter Lindemann and Schütze Jäsar of 6./IR 16, both of whom were killed at the bridge at the Noord in Alblasserdam by Dutch mortar fire. Next to them lies Schütze Walter Kretschmann, also of 6./IR 16. He too was struck by a mortar shell, but at the Barendrecht bridge. He was killed instantly. Next to Kretschmann lies Gefreiter Walter Faber of the Fallschirm Nachrichten‑Abteilung 7; he was presumably killed at the Tweede Tol on 10 May 1940.
