This photo is an image of the cemetery later in the war. The wooden crosses have now been replaced with uniform grave markers. This grave belongs to gunner Kahnenbley.

Six pieces of mountain artillery (Skoda 7.5 cm mountain howitzers) were assigned to Kampfgruppe de Boer on 12 May, including the four guns brought in on 12 May from 5./AR.22. The artillery pieces were unloaded at the cemetery and deployed. They were partly positioned in the streets to fire on the station. One gun was fired upon by a pontoon‑engineer corporal (J. Grollé, 1.DCP) from the roof of the pavilion with a light machine gun, disabling the entire gun crew. Five men were killed. These were Unteroffizier Ulmer, Obergefreiter Bormann, Gefreiter Niemeyer, Gefreiter Knaute and gunner Kahnenbley.
