16. Dutch barricades on the Singel near the Spuiweg

A well‑known photograph of Dutch soldiers behind the improvised barricades on the Singel, near the Spuiweg. They are likely pontonniers (Army Maritime Engineers). Although seen more often, it remains a very unique image from May 1940 in Dordrecht.
