Dear wife,
I have just received your letter and learned that everything is going well. But I have already sent another letter in which I wrote when I will be coming home on leave, so you may already have that one now.The weather is beautiful here, and the Christmas trees are standing on the playground, so we are having a bit of a celebration as well. But fortunately I am coming home, so until Saturday, Christmas Day, at 10 o’clock in the morning. Now goodbye, my wife and little Sjaakie. See you soon, Your Gerard
