Dearest,
Since I want to let you hear something from me. I still don’t know anything, and I had the flu, so that also holds things back. But this morning I said: “Doctor, do I have to stay here much longer? Because I’m really fed up with it.” He said: “We’ll see tomorrow.” So every day it’s the same again, but I’m not staying here any longer like this. I’m so tired of it. I could walk out, but that doesn’t work now. Since I haven’t heard anything from you, I’ve been good enough to let you know something anyway. Now I will write again when I’ve heard something from you. I also received a postcard from home. No other news, and I hope to hear from you soon. Well, you know the rest. Goodbye, and a kiss from me for Anne. Bye.
