Field post card – I’m thinking of you – 9 August 1939.
“To the soldier
M. Ripzaad
3‑III‑27 R.I.
Deurne
Theo, I will write back right away. Now I will find out on which days and at what times you can go to Daan van der Krap. Then I will go there again. But you have so much to deal with. And the onions are not much; they are so small. I got them at Stolk. Well Theo, it is sad when you see them. So you can imagine that I really cannot go walking around. But still, I would like to get things moving in the matter now. One way or another. Yesterday evening Hert came by. He also said that I should go there. Now Theo, as soon as I know something, I will let you know immediately. Greetings from me and Annie. Goodbye.”
