Field mail from a military person in Sliedrecht - June 7, 1939
This field postcard is dated June 7, 1939 and addressed to family in Sliedrecht. The soldier writes:
“Dear Fathers, I want to let you know that I have arrived safely. Everything is still going well. I did write a letter, but I don’t have any news, so I thought I would just send a postcard in the hope that it’s also okay. Greetings to everyone, your son and brother Henk. H.J. de Jager 2-2-3 G.B. Room 18 Territorial Command Area Commander N.B.”
