Dear Henk,
This morning we received your letter, and we were glad about that — especially when we read that you are still doing well. I hope it may stay that way and that everything turns out all right. Everything is still fine with us, and Jan will be travelling again tomorrow. On Wednesday he has to go to Vlissingen by train, so that will be a nice trip. Henk, you probably had not yet received our letter when you wrote yours. I had sent it off last Sunday, so you will have it by now. I haven’t heard anything more from Kees-Jan and Leen either, but I hope you will get leave again soon. And do write again soon — even if it’s just a postcard.
We are also glad about that. Well Henk, all the best and see you soon. Do you still have enough clean clothes? A kiss from your mum, and see you soon.
