Second type registration card
During the war, the Germans decided to introduce a second type of registration card to cut off the many hidden individuals from the distribution of food. This registration card was linked to the personal identification card, making it nearly impossible for those in hiding to obtain. This is one of reasons why the resistance often targeted distribution offices and made extensive efforts to forge registration cards and identification documents.
