Collar Insignia Corps of Army Maritime Engineers

Below you will find a collar emblem intended for an enlisted man of the Corps of Army Maritime Engineers. It is a metal, unprimed anchor that was worn in a set of two on both sides of the collar. These emblems were sewn onto the collar of the enlisted uniform. This particular emblem is attached to a small piece of fabric and was most likely used for instructional purposes, to teach new recruits about the rank and insignia system of the Dutch Army.
