7. Tegelaar Navycap
This navy cap was made by the company Paulus Tegelaar from Dordrecht. It is a navy cap of the model that was already in use before the war by the Royal Navy of the Dutch armed forces. It is unknown during which period Tegelaar manufactured navy caps. Inside the cap, the same type of stamp can be seen as the one found in pre‑war kepis. Accurately dating these caps is difficult because they were produced between the 1930s and the 1950s. However, this particular cap shows very strong similarities to the pre‑1940 model. We are actively searching for more caps manufactured by Tegelaar so we can compare them.
