3. Tegelaar Kepi Model 1928 - Red piping
This kepi was made by the hat factory P. Tegelaar from Dordrecht. It is a kepi with two red pipings and a lion emblem. The cockade is made of metal. This indicates that it is a kepi for an enlisted man, probably from the Corps of Army Maritime Engineers. Inside the kepi, the stamp of P. Tegelaar can be seen, located at Lombardstraat 15 in Dordrecht. Additionally, this kepi has two initials in the sweatband: D.K. Unfortunately, it is unknown who the owner of this kepi was. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful kepi from a rare maker!
