This is an SS registration sheet of a man from Dordrecht who served in the Waffen-SS. He served in the Volunteer Legion Netherlands. He lived at Gravenstraat 2 in Dordrecht. In September 1941, he entered service with the Waffen-SS. His rank was SS-Mann. On 23 December 1941, he was wounded by a gunshot to the abdomen. He was treated in Lazarett Hindenburg Lützen, Greifswald, Ottoheim Zimmeritz, and Bad Kleinen Mecklenburg, and afterwards spent five weeks with his mother in Dordrecht. He was also treated until 2 October 1942 in the Kriegslazarett Tilburg for pulmonary tuberculosis.
The names on this document have been obscured. Further research into the SS-Mann in question has yielded no results. It remains unclear whether he returned to service or survived the war. His name does not appear in the CABR (Central Archive of Special Jurisdiction).
